Alexander Tonev, qualified attorney-at-law, has over 19 years’ experience in acting for Bulgarian and international banking institutions and companies, as well as advising on matters of banking, commercial and property law.
He specialized in the Banking Department of the British law firm Allen & Overy LLP, London. Mr. Tonev's practice covers legal advice and representation in civil and commercial cases, property law, legal protection of intellectual property (patents for inventions, utility models, trademarks, industrial designs, artistic works).
He is Assistant Professor in ‘Legal Protection of Intellectual Property’ at the Faculty of Law of Sofia University ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’. He is a registered industrial property agent before the Bulgarian Patent Office.
