BCCI Deputy Chair Vladimir Penkov was elected to chair the board of the council. Deputy chairs include the manager of Siemens Information and Communication EOOD Franz Hermann, the director of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Bulgaria AD, Todor Bougroudjiev, and Todor Tabakov, member of the BCCI Managing Board. The manager of HVB Leasing OOD Dragan Georgiev will act as chief secretary.

Representatives of all companies direct members of the BCCI have a membership in the council by right and access to full package of services. These include DZI Bank, Zagorka AD, AVL – Sofia, Bulgarian Vip Tours OOD, Siemens Information and Communication EOOD, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Bulgaria AD, HVB Leasing OOD, Slunchev Bryag AD, A C E Holding, Drouzhba AD, Petrol AD, Mobiltel EAD, SKF Bearings Bulgaria EAD, Vidima AD, Actavis AD. Participants can also include outstanding experts in the legal and economic field.

The council will discuss general problems related to investment activity in Bulgaria, formulation and argumentation of motions for legislative amendments aimed at improving the business climate and overcoming investor problems, initiation of roundtables, seminars and other venues related to the regime of taxation; discussion and motioning of new mechanisms for improving relations between business circles and the state authorities.

The council shall convene every month and shall maintain contacts with state and municipal authorities and institutions, NGOs and commercial companies.
