Atanas Valov commented on BTV the topic of rescheduling rents of retail outlets
The renegotiation of the rents of large retail outlets in the capital for next year begin

According to experts, during the negotiations there will be some difficulties if the owners of large outlets have loans and the bank does not want to postpone them.

"How significant it will be, depend on how much the landlords can afford, because of the bank loans they pay," commented Atanas Valov, specialist at Commercial and Corporate law at Penkov, Markov & Partners law firm

In his opinion, it actually depends mostly on the banks. The small retail outlets expect the biggest losses.

"Although their rents are lower in absolute cost than those with large stores, they are smaller according to turnover and they depend more on maintaining a certain income," also said Valov.
