Throughout his distinguished career, Vladimir Penkov has been twice awarded as Lawyer of the Year (2013 and 2020) and only in 2026 has received the highest national award The Grand Prix for his Overall Contribution to the Development of Law in Bulgaria.
Among his further distinctions are the highest Chambers ranking of Senior Statesperson, as well as multiple recognitions from other leading international platforms, including The Legal 500, IFLR1000, Baron’s Who’s Who of the World (1999–2000), Baron’s 500 (2000), Best Lawyers Bulgaria (2012 and 2015), and many other.
